For the second year running we are delighted to announce that we have won another top award at the SIBA National Brewing Awards.  We were voted ‘Best E Business’ and the judges described us as a ‘force to be reckoned with in the South-West’ with a ‘business campaign that delivers real and successful results’.

We are delighted to have scooped 3 awards for our bottled beers in the 2011 Taste of the West Awards. Gold, Topsail and Devon Dumpling all acheived bronze in this prestigious competition that highlights the best of West Country food and drink.

We are excited to announce that we have launched a new cider! 

At 4.7%, ‘Windfall’ is a premium sparkling cider made from 100% West Country apples. It is light honey in colour, with a refreshing, well balanced flavour. West country through and through!

We are delighted to announce that we have won a top award at the 2010 National Brewing Business Awards.  The team travelled up to London to pick up the prize which was the best ‘Promotion and PR Award’.

Judges praised us for our ‘’holistic in-house strategy which was an all-round example of brilliant promotion and PR by a local brewery team without the financial resources to outsource their marketing. Bays Brewery should be very proud of its win.”

Spooky Ale is now on sale in local pubs. It is also available to buy direct from the brewery in Party 9′s, 18 pint polypins and 36 pint polypins. 

Spooky Ale is 4.4% and is a ”Scarily easy drinking light golden brew, well balanced throughout, with a smooth haunting after taste.”

Our Head Brewer Will and his team have been working extremely hard to install two new fermenting vessels at the brewery.  Quite simply the equipment will allow us to brew more beer which will help us to sell our beer further a field as we embark on growing the business.

Topsail was launched in June at the Occombe Farm Beer Festival and we are delighted to report that the feedback has been fantastic! 

More and more pubs are trying it (and liking it!) and it is fast becoming a Bays favourite! If you are yet to try it give us a call and we can direct you to your nearest outlet serving it.
